SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
Full-time | Brisbane, Queensland
About BPR Talent
BAYLY PR is a boutique PR and talent management agency based in Brisbane, specialising in lifestyle, interiors, beauty, wellness, and fashion. Our talent management division, BPR Talent, represents a growing roster of influencers, Key Opinion Leaders, content creators and people who are generally the best in class at what they do, all across Australia.
The role!
We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to lead campaigns for some of our most exciting clients — someone who can move seamlessly between big-picture strategy and the granular detail that makes campaigns actually land. This isn't a role where you manage from a distance. You'll be in the room for the ideation, across the timelines, and on the ground for the execution.
Role Description
The Senior Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Brisbane, QLD. This role leads day-to-day management of key client accounts, including developing and executing strategic PR and communications plans, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and serving as the primary point of contact with little escalation to the leadership team. The Senior Account Manager will craft compelling narratives and campaign concepts, oversee content creation and media materials, and drive media outreach and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities also include mentoring junior team members, analysing campaign performance, preparing reports, and contributing to new business opportunities and pitches. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure campaigns are innovative, effective, and aligned with client objectives.
What you'll do:
Lead end-to-end delivery of campaigns and retainers — strategy, ideation, execution and amplification
Own client relationships, timelines, budgets and reporting for your own portfolio
Build integrated brand experiences spanning publicity, content, partnerships and influencer engagement
Identify and manage collaborations between clients, talent, media and complementary brands
Work closely with our PR, content and talent teams to bring ideas to life
Stay ahead of cultural trends and platform shifts, and translate them into strategy for clients and for BPR
Support new business proposals, pitches and brainstorms
Mentor junior team members and contribute to BPR's culture and internal growth
About you:
5+ years' experience in PR or communications, ideally agency-side and across multiple disciplines
Equally comfortable setting strategy and getting into the detail — pitching one minute, sourcing event merch the next
Strong track record managing integrated campaigns: media relations, influencers, events, partnerships and/or content
A genuine media and culture obsession — the kind of person with three Substacks open and a strong opinion on the algorithms latest updates
Confident using AI as a strategic tool to work smarter, not as a shortcut
Established (or easily built) relationships with journalists, editors and Australian tastemakers
A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and building team culture, not just managing outputs
Why BPR?
Real ownership of a division — not a support role, not a coordinator title
The opportunity to grow quickly within a small, senior team
Diverse and exciting talent across lifestyle, fashion, wellness, interiors, and food
A front-row seat to a fast-growing agency with serious ambitions for 2032 and beyond
Flexible working hours and hybrid arrangements
Two extra paid leave days per year — one for your birthday, one just because
Quarterly Fridays off
An annual development budget for your career growth (post-probation)
A supportive, ambitious team that takes the work seriously but doesn't take itself too seriously
How to apply
Submit your application by sending your CV and cover letter to Lucinda Bayly at lucinda@baylypr.com.

The role!
This is a hands-on, build-and-own position for someone who wants real responsibility in the creator economy. A genuine understanding of the Australian creator economy and social media platforms
Proven ability to pitch, negotiate, and close brand partnerships

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and talent relationships simultaneously
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach — you don’t wait to be told what to do
Based in Brisbane or the Gold Coast (or wider SEQ). Requirement to be in the office 2/3 days per week.
Please don't send your application without making it thoughtful and specific to this role — we want to see the same care and intentionality in your application that you'd bring into the work itself.
Applications close 31 July.
